Even the highest quality paver block will sink, shift, or pond water if the ground substrate beneath it is flawed. AQ-Crete maintains in-house installation supervisors equipped with heavy-duty vibratory rollers, screed bars, and plate compactors.
- Excavation & Subgrade: Native soil compacted to standard Proctor densities.
- Crushed Stone Sub-base: Graded stone aggregate layer to handle axle loading.
- Edge Restraint Containment: Securing AQ Kerb blocks on concrete haunching.
- Sand Bedding: Screeded 25mm to 30mm layer of sharp sand.
- Vibratory Interlock & Sand Jointing: Plate compaction with silica joint sand filling.
